Original Lindy Cook Severns landscapes and skyscapes from Big Bend National Park and the borderlands of Far West Texas. Visit remote mountain ranches near Marfa, Alpine and Marathon and immerse yourself in vast horizons. Framed and unframed originals, and most ship free. If the painting is a gallery listing, you'll still find a link to buy it. We can help you acquire Lindy's art, wherever the piece you love hangs.
Lindy Cook Severns paintings take you to real places in the desert southwest, vast horizons and intimate niches of nature's beauty. Some are done on location en plein aire, others, back in the studio from photographs taken during Lindy's and Jim's adventures.
Because she paints her own experiences, there's a story behind every painting. Don't miss Lindy's weekly blog and monthly newsletter!

We want Lindy Cook Severns art to last for generations. All prints, whether open editions or uniquely embellished remarques are done on with archival (acid-free, non-reactive) ink and papers and matted in acid-free matboard. Original art, from the smallest drawings and watercolors to the largest oils and pastel paintings are done on archival surfaces. Lindy uses the highest grade pigments in each medium. Light-fastness of pigments is further protected by covering all but all paintings in artist grade UV protective glazing, whether glass or acrylic. Conservation framing on original art means no reactive materials come in contact with the artwork, so all tape and backing boards are acid free and create a barrier for the artwork.
