Lindy Cook Severns Art from Old Spanish Trail Studio is Us:. Team Severns. Jim and Lindy. Real People.
We believe everyone deserves fine art in their life, and we're here to help you make that happen. We'll help you acquire an original painting online, in the studio or at any fine art gallery or exhibit representing the contemporary Texas artist. (Shopping for fine art online is easier on the feet than hiking the places Lindy paints. )
We invite you to travel here again. And, again. And again... Become a friend, as well as a client. Online or within the walls of Old Spanish Trail Studio, Lindy's workplace exudes Texas hospitality. We treat you royally, no matter the size of your fine art purchase. You matter to us. Don't hesitate to ask questions! We want to make collecting Lindy's fine art one of life's great experiences.
Payment Methods - All Major Credit / Debit Cards- PayPal - Offline Payments - Checks (Checks may add time.) We no longer accept chickens, goats or zucchini. It was simply too much for us.
ASK about customizing an interest-free payment plan for you on original art. Most originals can be paid out over up to 18 months. (Like furniture, except, friendlier.) We"ll email you an invoice that you can securely make payments using a credit card, PayPal or check. We will safely hold the art for you until it is paid in full, then ship it to your very door.
This isn't a big deal. Holler at Lindy and explain what would work for you. Customizing is what we do best.
My art creations are very special things that cannot be exchanged or returned, so be sure about your purchase. Ask questions before you buy. We've never had anyone tell us they're dissatisfied (yay!), but we do repeatedly hear It's so much lovelier than the photos show!
You can trust us.
Choose the art you love, then, buy with confidence. In the unlikely event something goes wrong, we'll work with you 'til we get it right. It's our handshake, the West Texas way. We're nice people who used to fly our passengers all around the country while keeping them comfortable and safe. Buying art isn't life and death, like flying, but we still do things right by You.
I exhibit original artwork in select fine art galleries that embrace our client-friendly mission and share our integrity. We work closely with any gallery. While not actively seeking new representation, I welcome gallery inquiries from potential new partners in exhibiting and selling fine art originals. Gift shop? Shipping is a Big Deal to both of us. When you live way out in the mountains of Far West Texas, an hour round-trip from your own post office box, you learn to appreciate the folks who move treasures across the country. We're pros at hauling art around and at packaging fine art originals and prints. We devote the same loving care to every piece of art we send into the world. Be it a notecard or a large framed original, we have a special box for it, one that will keep the artwork happy and safe during its travels. We use several different types of fine art boxes, each designed for the type of artwork we're shipping.
It's exciting for us to send art out into the world, so we make that happen quick as we can. If we're traveling, it might take a little extra time. Buy the art, and we'll keep you in the loop. *Take advantage of our complimentary SEND A CARD ANNOUNCING YOUR GIFT service when time matters. All you have to do is ask, and Lindy will snail mail a notecard with that artwork image on it to the recipient, and hand-write a message from you inside.

We want Lindy Cook Severns art to last for generations. All prints, whether open editions or uniquely embellished remarques are done on with archival (acid-free, non-reactive) ink and papers and matted in acid-free matboard. Original art, from the smallest drawings and watercolors to the largest oils and pastel paintings are done on archival surfaces. Lindy uses the highest grade pigments in each medium. Light-fastness of pigments is further protected by covering all but all paintings in artist grade UV protective glazing, whether glass or acrylic. Conservation framing on original art means no reactive materials come in contact with the artwork, so all tape and backing boards are acid free and create a barrier for the artwork.
