Remarques: Uniquely Enhanced Limited Originals
My Enhanced Prints are rare, elegant hybrids, Limited Originals. Each remarque is a stand-alone work of art I revisit by painting on top of the print, adding new details, color nuances and definition. I paint out my original signature, then add a new one. The ultimate in fine art prints, each is an edition of One and ships free to continental USA destinations.
Enhanced prints are signed, but not numbered because each artwork is already unique.
- Many remarques are formatted to fit standard sized frames (some images may be cropped to allow this)
- all art is printed on museum grade paper or canvas
- Prints on paper are repainted usiing the finest pastel pigments
- Canvas prints are cradled with the art mirrored on the canvas wrapped around the edge and repainted with oils.
- Canvas prints are wired for hanging and don't need framed (they will accept conventional framing, too)
- Both paper and canvas remarques are coated with an archival, protective fine art sealant
- small standard sizes on paper are matted in acid-free soft white to complement any decor and ready to slip into readymade frames
- non-standard sizes, larger sizes and prints on canvas are NOT matted (please read the specs on the specific art)
- we recommend framing larger pieces without a mat (Lindy doesn't mat originals, and these look original!)
- protected in a clear, resealable bag
- a ribbon-tied foam board sandwich case on the smaller sizes makes an attractive gift presentation.
- larger art is securely packaged for protection, but without the gift presentation
We advise using non-reflective museum glass or TruVue museum acrylic over remarques on paper. Museum glazing gives you the optimal viewing experience, and keeps the bad stuff --pollutants, damaging ultraviolet light and dirty fingers-- from your fine art print, preserving it for generations.
Remarques ship in fine art boxes or protective print sleeves, USPS Priority Mail or FedEx or UPS 2-3 day ground delivery. All are insured. Even small remarques are time-intensive creations. Please allow several days production time from the day you place your order until your remarque ships. Email or leave a comment when you order if you have special shipping concerns.
Need it sooner? Speak up. Begging usually works to move you to the front of the line, at least!
