Sawtooth, a rugged landmark peak rises from the western end of the Davis Mountains. Surrounded by grassy ranchland, these isolated mountains crown Far West Texas at sunset. The road winds into the mountains, into the sunset and across land relatively unchanged by the passing of centuries.
In repainting this, I changed the landscape from a season of drought into summer greens. The resulting remarque is rich in color and bursting with texture, truly a stand alone piece of art.
