Old Spanish Trail Gallery and Museum is nestled on a heritage working ranch. Visiting is a unique experience, whether you're a tourist or a local..
The Davis Mountains gallery is an elegant, yet relaxed fine art space featuring my art along with that of other nationally known and local artists. It's not what you expect to find hidden in the mountains. Most folks say WOW when they enter. (That's up to you.)
The Gallery is open ONLY by appointment (1) because we're off the beaten path and don't expect drop-ins and (2) we want to make your gallery experience a special one, friendly and personal.
Text or Call the gallery at 432.249.1968 and I will answer! You can also email me in advance of your trip. Spontaneous? Please give me at least forty-five minutes notice, but spontaneous works for me.
Wherebouts is this? (II knew you'd ask)
I'll give you specific directions when you make your appointment, but for now, know OST Gallery is on an all weather ranch road, 16 miles SW of Fort Davis and 1 mile N off HWY 166 (the Davis Mountains Scenic Loop) . Gallery and ranch owner Roxa Robison will host your visit if Team Severns can't. The fourth generation rancher is a gracious Southern lady with a wealth of local history to share.
oh, and don't dress up! This ain't Dallas. We're on a working ranch, so you're more likely to see cattle than other people.

Description from Merchant:
We want Lindy Cook Severns art to last for generations. All prints, whether open editions or uniquely embellished remarques are done on with archival (acid-free, non-reactive) ink and papers and matted in acid-free matboard. Original art, from the smallest drawings and watercolors to the largest oils and pastel paintings are done on archival surfaces. Lindy uses the highest grade pigments in each medium. Light-fastness of pigments is further protected by covering all but all paintings in artist grade UV protective glazing, whether glass or acrylic. Conservation framing on original art means no reactive materials come in contact with the artwork, so all tape and backing boards are acid free and create a barrier for the artwork.
